Reading from “Through Waves and Gales Come Fishermen’s Tales” by author Triygvie Jensen

Liberty Grove Historical Society in conjunction with the Egg Harbor Historical Society and the Heritage Alliance of Door County will host Trygvie Jensen at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor on Fri., 6/20/25 at 7 PM. 

The author describes himself as an “author, poet, photographer, re-enactor and 18th century tailor.”

Trygvie Jensen will be reading from his second book of fisherman stories, Through Waves and Gales Come Fishermen’s Tales published in 2010. 

It “… is all about the stories that were shared to the author by commercial fishermen and women. It is their story of a life out on the lake that were only sometimes shared amongst their peers. …”

Trygvie calls Washington Island home, but has resided in the Green Bay area. He studied in the field of Natural Resources and currently works as a senior building inspector for the City of De Pere. He is Owner and Photographer at Trygvie Jensen Photography and currently serves as Secretary, Executive Committee for the Board of Directors at Heritage Hill State Historical Park.
